Before taking on any projects please visit the Safety pages. I will show you the basic safety procedures and equipment for various types of projects for your home and family. Taking a few precautions will save you time, money, and possibly spending the afternoon in the ER. it is also important to keep the work area clean and clear of debris to avoid accidents and damage to the home.

For seasonal maintenance projects the I will offer weekly suggestions called Sustainable Saturdays. This will be a weekly feed offering projects that can be taken on in a day or two. Every Thursday I will publish the home maintenance that should be done taking into consideration the season, recent weather, and new products I have discovered to help you achieve your goals. Check the Sustainable Saturdays link to follow the news feed.

The types of projects I will demonstrate in the project section will have pictures and videos along with detailed instructions. These will be more involved and there will be a difficulty grade, tool list, material list, pictures, and often videos.
